I've seen the river rising and I've been around the bend
I've followed thru with every single word that I have said
I've carried impure thoughts and refuse to bow my head
The good lord gave us freedom and to that I say amen

They're sent to judge and question well I question all events
That leave the guilty rich and the poor man clawing in defense
I shattered purgatory and I've walked among the dead
