Verdict OST by Nathaniel Sheppard
Directed by Ryan Gates and Ben Schmitt, Verdict is an experimental film centering around a young lawyer, Alex, who has been kidnapped and possibly framed for fraud. This was Nathaniel’s first opportunity to write an entire score for a film and it was quite an enjoyable experience. Employing a variety of instruments from piano and guitar to cello and flute (the latter played by Nathaniel’s wife, Andrea), the combination of textures create a mixture of suspenseful atmospheres and melancholy ballads.
