Fresh off the release of Of Sea, his collaborative LP with Omfeel, Nuage keeps up the momentum with Luma, a two-track EP to slot perfectly into your summer playlist. Building from his stellar blend of electronic house and UK garage, Nuage incorporates components of African folk music into these two upbeat tracks. The familiar sounds of Roland drum machines are contrasted with African choral chants, jittering guitar and string samples, blissful kalimbas, and enchanting flutes, yielding a fresh twist on a classic electronic sound. Fans of Four Tet, Jamie xx, and Bonobo are sure to gravitate towards the energetic, alternative electronic sounds of Nuage.

The winters in Dmitry Kuzmin’s home city are to be endured rather than enjoyed.
