Lyrics
So there it was looking pretty bad, but what is good could not beat what you had. You left me here facing the void of someone else’s life. Like they say it’s all your fault. Next time you’ll keep to what you’ve got. Don’t take refuge in someone’s arms when all they take for granted passes with time. I’d like to hold your heart in my hand. It took me quite a while to understand that to tune in to its every beat wouldn’t make my life complete. Then we would play forever, trying so hard to please each other. I dived in your eyes until I get drowned. Each of your cells became my own. But they didn’t tell us it was not how life supposed to be, why not? They just gave us those magazines and switched on those big TV screens. If I could start it all again, I think I’ll try and be myself. I won’t pretend I am the heroine replaying the good old love scheme. Now all is broken, isn’t it? The most beautiful moments completely fucked up by our ideas of what can and what cannot be. I hope you managed to love someone else and act like eveybody does. Just be a plain human being confused by those man-made life schemes. But now, you know, I won’t talk anymore or waste my time, my energy on you and on this comedy. I will forget both you and all. I’m not ready to understand, anyway I’m pondering in vain. The present time does not know you, does not require a shot of you – which only means a shot of past, a shot of death in what’s alive.
