Sintonia by Oddest Number

Sintonia is a word that doesn’t have a direct translation in English but can mean “tuning” (adjusting frequencies) or “being in sync” (like when two people are on the same wavelength).

This title reflects the music you’ll find on the EP: a mix of Brazilian acoustic guitar (played by me), with influences from viola caipira (a Brazilian countryside guitar style that reflects my upbringing in southern Brazil), along with the more rhythmic approaches of Samba and Bossa Nova. Added to this are light percussion, atmospheric ambient synths, and downtempo experimental beats.
