My Britain is a single by British Pop/Rap duo Excelsior.
Nominated for 'Best Hip-Hop' by the Peoples Choice Awards, 'My Britain' caused quite the uproar in 2010 upon it's release. Many youtube and facebook viewers found the song offensive and some even deemed it "racist". Numerous radio stations refused to play the song due to it's content, stating it was "potentially offensive to other cultures".
"It doesn't take a genius to figure out the song is controversial. But in my opinion, anybody with half a brain can see that it's not racist."
- Krafty
"The song wasn't about race. It's about the problems in this country caused by all different people, from our own MP's, to our citizens, to extremists."
