Valediction

Is mortality the fallacy
Which none of us can cling to?
Why is the call of angels just like that of siren screams?
Why do call upon this Earth
When we are fallen right from birth?
Is it our right to be obtuse
And to be torn asunder?

We call upon the souls
Those forgotten from beyond
To accept my bitter fate
Unravels time entangled state
To bring about the end of days
Will try the frailty and mandate
Our resolve become born anew
And beckon now this hollow view

A year now to the day
A malady of grey
And behind me the ashes of empires
The silence said it all
And grieving his call
And the shadows of nascent black pyres

Apparition banished unto thee
The falling hourglass drifting past
Fragments of glass, grains of sand
And finally, I understand

I have found the way and I holdfast
All I see is all I need

Feeling it's all

Sorrows give way
Give way to new days now
Sorrows in vain and away is the pain
It's clear as day now
Everything is waylaid now

To elation, false temptation
