Seasons from Stardust by Oh November
I almost called this album seasons. I’ve been learning to live seasonally. Both the seasonal rhythm of the earth and the monthly seasons I go through as a woman. Getting used to highs and lows as a constant shifting force. You won’t be stuck in -30 degrees forever, and you can’t keep May in the Rockies forever. The lilacs will fade, apple blossoms will turn to fruit, the bugs will arrive, the heat will slow you down even if you don’t want to. Everything goes and comes again. You can let it go, and let it come back to you. Enjoy it for what it is.
I dream of one day performing this song with a choir. For now, I did all the harmonies I could find.
