Uniad by Verg x t8

For the first release of our new label Old Habits, we had to do something special.

That special something came to our email inbox as a .wav format highlighting the long-awaited return of Verg, the mysterious artist from the UK, who has joined forces with the Welsh born, London residing t8, with the duo aptly donning the mantle V8 for a hefty track that fires up all the sensory cylinders.

With the title of ‘Uniad’, which is Welsh for “joint”, this tune is sure to have your knees aching after it comes on in the dance. The track sports piercing rim shots and bass throbs unmistakably rooted in the UK bass scene and t8’s production, whilst all the elements of the track are tied nicely together with Verg’s signature manipulation of vocal samples resulting in an industrial shine.
