Seymour Quigley was born in Doncaster and raised on the mean streets of Bury St Edmunds. From1999-2006 he fronted hard-touring, hard-drinking indie-punk band Miss Black America. In 2006 he began performing solo under the pseudonym Open Mouth, as a means to convey how annoyed he was with everyone and everything, including himself. He currently also performs with greasy rock band Ten City Nation.
