This album is a collection of miniatures focusing specific vocal techniques and mixing them. Throat voice, jodels, breath inspiration, harmonics, fast articulation, mouth & larynx noises, falsetto, invented languages,.... The very first Orynx album issued on Inaudible label is sold out and was recorded in 1997/2001/2004.

J-M's solo voice recording of ORYNX "#1" was issued in 2005 on the Inaudible label as a CD with a Red Tent cardboard - paper Pop-Up handmade by artist and percussionnist Kris Vanderstraeten.
