Hoodsploitation by Control Vertex

"Hoodsploitation" is the debut EP by designer and motion artist Control Vertex.

Encouraged by OvelhaTrax to create more music while designing covers for the label, Hoodsploitation draws heavily from the influence of 90s hip-hop culture. The EP channels the raw energy and gritty aesthetic of that era, seamlessly blending it with electronic music.

While the title carries a hint of satire, it serves as both a playful nod to and a tribute to the culture that inspired Control Vertex as an artist.

The EP’s B-side features three remixes by artists GO Nuclear, ATM, and SAIGG, adding fresh dimensions to the original tracks and rounding out the project with fresh reinterpretations.
