there are things upon a table
next to the bed where i lay down
i let the light shine through my window
and let go

i walk the line of the horizon
wrapped in a thought just warm enough
i take her smile into my blood
and look up

golden curtains draw the story
of all the wonders waiting underneath
as they fall i see a cloud
turn into an island
it s tearing me apart
and it s bringing me back

off shore i need to build a tower
or do i need to stream along
or do i need a helping hand
help me carry on

then i will watch the world go by
and i will current with the tide
and i will set the sail with you
for a while
