You decide if it feels relevant to you – following up his latest “System Irrelevant” A/V set (premiered on UKF September 15th), Hamburg based artist Phace is releasing a same-titled 6- track mini album. The music featured very much covers both his mood and vibe of recent times and is his deepest, most melancholic and atmospheric work to date.
His first single, “Altona” (named by his neighbourhood) will be released October 20th, followed by a second single, “Useless”, out November 10th.
PHACE:
“Looking back at the past year System Irrelevant feels like a mirror of both my emotional state and creative preferences. I tried to put a lot of attention to detail and emotion, but also tried to not get lost in detail too much. Most important, I wanted the tracks to transport warmth, vibes and something personal. Visually all components also have been hand-crafted by myself with help of close friends. I wanted this project to rather be art than a music industry product. I also wanted this project to transport a message: everyone is relevant and should be treated equally. We are all part of the system. “
