LOW VOLUME LISTENING RECOMMENDED

Initially, I playfully considered naming this release by the more technical "Experiments with the Correlation Meter" but decided "Silver Afternoon" was more poetic. And besides, points to the inspiration--a lyric in a Mazzy Star song I was listening to when I captured the cover image.

Technically speaking, though, this might be the best release I've ever engineered on my own. At least as far as designing the sound and then recording it to actually sound the way I hear it when you hear it.

Thanks is due to Jourdan Laik who, this past summer, very patiently sat down with me on Zoom. He showed me a couple of invaluable tips and tricks in Logic Pro X that, frankly, have given me a whole new desire to make more music.
