Regina from Digital Tension by Picture Atlantic

This song was written in 2012 about much of the unrest occurring in and around Oakland, CA in the African American community and general race relations in the Bay Area. Inspired by a series of lectures given by Dr. Joy Degruy on white privilege, this song is a statement to the issue of how white privilege is 'spent' by white Americans. Is it for good or passivity? As white Americans, it's important that we wrestle with, and grapple with the issues of race in our country which have been here since the start.
