Pierpaolo Martino is a double‐bass and electric bass player based in Italy. He plays in jazz, improv and avant-rock contexts with Frequency Disasters (feat Steve Beresford) , The Dinner Party, The Lenox Brothers, in duo with Enrico Merlin and in duo with British guitarist Dave Tucker. He also performs in solo double-bass. He is Associate Professor of English Literature at the University of Bari
