ill aura was a beloved musician and one of the first worm castle records & tapes signees, whose solo project was active from late summer 2022 to spring 2024, although according to ill aura himself, the project's first recordings had taken place as early as summer 2021. ill aura was also active in the jazz and free improvisation genres, notably as the drummer of Worm Castle Trio on their records "Go Home" and "Stay Forever".
the solo ill aura project concluded after its only live performance in march 2024, and ill aura has since retired from music and gone into seclusion "somewhere with a pool", as per a recent message to worm castle.
now, with ill aura's full permission and creative involvement, worm castle records & tapes is proud to present "everything"- as the title suggests, compiling all of ill aura's recorded output, including his previously self-released collaborations with brdynl & a previously unreleased remix of worm castle proprietor will schwester's iconic track for the vamonos pest label, "high charity".
