Sacred Sketches by John Duggan
Sacred Sketches is a small selection of pieces for alto, tenor and bass, written over the last ten years. The texts are liturgical, focusing on core spiritual themes: love, repentance, despair and hope. These sketches reflect the writing process, with voices layered one on top of the other, moving towards and away from each other, intertwining in a constant flux of suspension and resolution.
