Dirt Collector by Mazut
Inspired by 80’s electronics from bands like Cabaret Voltaire or Severed Heads and unable to emulate their sound, Mazut was able to develop their own approach to dance music being somewhere in the middle of a venn diagram of acid, post-industrial and synth music.
10 years after their debut and 4 years after their last EP, duo of Paweł Starzec and Michał Turowski came back from a short hiatus with redefining their previous sound, slowing down and aiming for more of a gritty postindustrial ambient than 130 BPM acid anthems. They already played 100+ gigs in Europe and this is the sound of another hundred. The original sound of Mazut.
