I’ve spent nearly a month in the hospital, and when the days start blending together, your mind can go a little sideways. These country parodies started as something to kill time, but they turned into a lifeline. Writing funny, twangy songs about hospital life gave me something to focus on when everything else felt stuck or out of my control.
This album leans into gallows humor, routine chaos, and the strange moments that happen when you’re confined to a bed long enough to really notice them. It’s not about pretending things are easy—it’s about laughing where you can and getting through one long day at a time. If these songs helped lift me up, maybe they’ll do the same for you.
