The two works that are presented in this release were part of Festival Tsonami 2020, which has been taking place since 2007 in the city of Valparaiso, Chile. Due to the global pandemic Tsonami completely revised its format towards a 10 days festival of transmission arts. During that period of the festival two important astronomical events ocurred, one of them being the solar eclipse that darkened part of Chilean territory on Monday, December 14th. On that day, the radio channel of the festival filled the 24 hours of transmission with works and content about the eclipse commisioned to various Latin American artists, as well as moments of discussion and reflexion around a non-occidental understanding of that astronomical event.

Las dos obras que se presentan en esta publicación fueron parte del Festival Tsonami 2020, el cual se realiza desde el año 2007 en la ciudad de Valparaíso, Chile. Debido a la pandemia global Tsonami replanteó completamente su formato hacia un festival de artes de la transmisión de diez días. Dos importantes eventos astronómicos ocurrieron durante estos días, uno de ellos fue el eclipse solar que oscureció parte del territorio chileno el lunes 14 de diciembre. Ese día la señal del festival cubrió las 24 horas de transmisiones con obras y contenidos sobre el eclipse encargados a diversos artistas Latinoamericanos, además de espacios de diálogo y reflexión que abordaron una comprensión no occidental de este evento astronómico.
