Creatures is a song that tells an abstract story about a man who is tragically turned into a calculated creature. The man experiences manipulation over his life and thoughts. This manipulation is solely caused by a woman that he loves dearly. This woman controls and manipulates him in such a way so that she can still have the self-destructive lifestyle that she wants to have while she ditches him, and at the same time, so she can still carry on a relationship with him when she comes back to him. The abuse changes him and he can't control his emotions anymore. The man's emotions take over his mind, and then ultimately take over his physical manifestation, morphing him into a creature who is now hunting her down in the middle of her drug and alcohol induced night, only to end with a horrific murder scene that completely consumes the man and totally annihilates the woman altogether.
