Black Sheep from Autumn Sketchbook by Pumpkin Friend

The next two tracks, There’s Nothin’ Wrong With Me and Black Sheep are the next pair of songs that I see as going together. Along with the two Trump songs, these are also some of the least autumn-themed.

I included them just because I had recently recorded them, again thinking I might work on them more later, but quickly realizing that I’d probably just move on.

They were both written on the same night and very quickly—within an hour—and then I made these reference recordings simply so I wouldn’t forget how they went. So very rough drafts or song sketches.

Both are bluesy and are meditations on feelings of being different and self acceptance.

Black Sheep came about from watching a YouTube video on Eric Clapton-style pentatonic bends. I was just practicing the bend and the song came out.
