#RemixWednesday was a weekly series that ran for the better part of 2012. It was a little experiment I undertook in which I would challenge myself to remix, release, package, and publicize a new song each week. It was also an attempt on my part to "sell out" a bit and adopt a more commercial sound in order to increase my overall exposure as an artist. In that regards it was a success, as it led to numerous write-ups, shows, and other opportunities that I wouldn't have otherwise had. It was also a failure in that, despite my best efforts, none of these songs really sound super-commercial and even the ones that do still sound a little off in a way that is hard to characterize. My signature strangeness that can be heard on other releases still manages to seep through even buried under layers of trap drums. Despite being frustrating at the time, I realize that this is a good thing and it is my unique approach to music that makes these tracks worth listening to at all. So enjoy this little collection of songs, I hope you have as much fun listening to them as I did making them.
