Live @ Myrtle by Purple Ivy Shadows

this is a bootleg live recording of a show that almost didn't happen. it was scheduled to be our second show since reforming earlier this year, but it was almost called off because PiS singer / guitarist Chris Daltry was hospitalized for a week leading up to the date of the show. but through will power and the help of his doctors Chris was discharged the afternoon before when a quick rehearsal happened and then the show the following afternoon on Sunday 17 August 2025 at Myrtle in East Providence, Rhode Island. it's rough around the edges, but after hearing this recording it struck us as something that's kinda special so we wanted to share it here. tee-shirts with reconfigured album artwork are also available - buy a shirt and get a download of the album for free! also note that funds raised from this project will go toward releasing special archival recordings next year in 2026 to coincide with the 35th anniversary of the founding of Purple Ivy Shadows!

Purple Ivy Shadows formed in Charlottesville, Virginia in September 1991. The band briefly relocated to New York City the following year until making Providence, Rhode Island their permanent home in the Fall of 1993.
