Illektrolab is considered one of the most respected figures in the electro genre. A whole generation of artists who define the sound of the scene today grew up on his tracks.
From a musical standpoint, «Mental Clarity» consists of three cohesive compositions that blend Electro, Breakbeat, and Techno. The tracks feature recognizable old-school motifs, powerful analog basslines, and unusual textures.
According to the artist, «Mental Clarity» is a universal message that allows him to share feelings and emotions with people on the other side of the globe.

Another important aspect of the album is its family significance. This release is particularly meaningful to the artist, as it was created in honor of his beloved grandmother, who is turning 99 years old.
