Wonder from The 52 by Rachel LaFond
Can you imagine a child’s wonder and awe at experiencing the world? That sparkly, magical feeling of seeing something incredibly beautiful for the first time? In this piece, I wanted to see if I could share that feeling with you through my music.
As I wrote it, I thought of experiences that have generated this childlike delight and amazement for me: watching the sun rise over Kata Tjuta in the Australian Outback, meeting the newborn child of someone I love for the first time, even the everyday delight of smelling a vibrant rose.
