El Regreso from Piano Chronicles by Carlos Maya
When I'm composing, I don't always have a plan in mind; I just start improvising here and there. But when I find a good concept, I work with it until I have a good outcome, and the name comes afterwards, simply when you hear the end product. This composition reminds me of a fantastic Return to a place or time when we were truly happy; everyone has a location like that where we wish we could remain longer. El Regreso is just that.
