What's in a name? Nothing suggesting any of the x-hop genre here, but some simple grooving in 6/4, 7/4 an outlying 2/4, and a dig-in 8/4. Originally conceived from a simple melodic bass shape working off a 4-limb polyrhythmic drumming challenge. The 7/4 section hears the bass track re-amped into a tall marble shower stall for some added tonal perspective.
In 1996, trio Raja set out to create a collection of adventurous, original instrumental music, primed for live performance.
