Niebla by Ramon Chicharron
Niebla was composed and recorded between the Laurentian mountains of Quebec, the jungles of the Colombian Pacific, and Jean Massicotte's studio in Montreal. Niebla, Spanish for mist, is a symbol of transition and magic, two elements that accompany the artist in his creative processes, leaving him transformed each time. A blend of electro-tropical sounds, Latin and Caribbean rhythms, from cumbia (Cumbia en la fogata) to dembow (Menealo), via bachata (Lucecitas de amor), Niebla is an entry into Ramon's universe through 12 songs inspired by love in all its forms and the desire to abandon oneself to fate.
