Some of the most intimate and personal lyrics I had ever written. At this time in 2013 I was in a dark place with trying to become the man I wanted to be, as well as balancing my religion and spirituality with my past decisions and mistakes. I wrote and performed this song as a reflection of exactly what was happening in my heart.

With this song I really started to tap into my ability to translate my emotions and thoughts into lyrics.

Raz is a Rapper/Songwriter of Caribbean descent based in Toronto, Canada.

Raz defines his sound as "Stadium Hip-Hop": a unique mix of Hip-Hop and Alternative/Stadium Rock that's large enough to fill a venue but intimate enough for a local cafe.

While his sound is unique, he is often compared to the likes of Lupe Fiasco, Linkin Park, J Cole, Talib Kweli, Imagine Dragons.
