My eyes clear to the same scene So much I’m up without a thought. I push forward just by my sighs.
These motions are so familiar, the only things I feel at all.
Every hour’s just an hour, life is just a string of it.
Why should I differ, when each day sees the same phase?
If I came from nothing and turn to nothing,
what makes the moments between mean anything
What do I have to show besides these tracks, these tracks I know?
Night closes day, day shadows night, rewind me through my sleep And wake up...
Yet every hour’s a new hour,
forward from the past.
Every step in the same place is still a new step.
So why dwell in the motions
when I have the choice, the choice to change it all?
