This is assuredly the purposeful flagship of the album; the belligerent bullock trying to refuge!
Metaphorically, words do not justify how indispensible this elegy is to me, physically, music does not compound how irreplaceable this tonepoem is, as it is, in a sense, festooned bereavement and that is why I nominated to exacerbate music completely off this track.
On the cusped extremities of this song, it will redound as though my mind was intensively fixed upon the subject I was speaking of- Grandma, and until I approached the venerable microphone I thought that was all that would issue from my mouth; the phases I had written and the remembrances of her in life, but it wasn’t all. This may sound selfish, maybe even raffish but when I was talking it wasn’t just the deprivations of grandma that announced their presence but namely a ripe labyrinth of everything that had waded and worried me, from being isolated from Grandma’s funeral on the exemplification that she had stated in her will that children are not to attend such burials, to the attractive girl not reciprocating my smile on the mezzanine before recording.
I could go on and discuss the lines themselves and what they each exhaustively explore/represent but there comes a time when the music should indeterminately speak unaided.
Every line in this track is spoken with conviction and sincerity- nothing is fictitious!
