Bad Shout are a 3 piece Punk band based in Cardiff. Formed in April 2022, influences range from classic 77 punk to DC hardcore and garage rock bands including the Buzzcocks, The Damned, Stiff Little Fingers, Black Flag, The Black Lips, Jay Reatard, The Chats and more. Frenetic riffing, snapping vocals, hard hitting sweaty drums and a feeling it could all fall apart at any second make for a deafening, exciting, frenetic live show – At The Drive In being Pulled Apart by Horses.

Frontman/guitarist Callum moved to Cardiff in 2021, with the aim of starting a band in a new city, having played in bands in London for the past 5 years (Honkies, Children of the Pope). Things really started to click after meeting drummer Nathan (Tyrannosaw) at the Moon. Since then, the band have supported FEET and Shlug at Clwb Ifor Bach, played gigs in Cardiff, Newport, Swansea and Bristol, and have received continued support from Adam Walton at BBC introducing who famously played their early demo twice in a row, saying "It's that good, we're just going to do it again!" They are now set to release their third EP with Swansea's long standing R*E*P*E*A*T Records.

The new ep is the perfect next step for the band, cunningly combining noise, melody and mayhem into an awesome tottering racket of raw, howling pync Cymraeg: Volatile by name, Volatile by nature.

2025 is looking totally Volatile as the band plan to follow up the ep with more live dates in Cardiff, London and beyond.
