i should've known from the very start this was pointless
i never learned compassion like the other kids did
i was kept in a bedroom watching vhs tapes
absorbing everything
and now, snuff is just snuff
and it's never enough to satiate an appetite
built on someone else's lust for disgust
so, now it's pointless
i'll never be the image of containment that i was meant to be

and it's a real tear-jerker, they'll say
