Violet by Reverie: Marni Rachmiel, Karina Wilson, Terry Wergeland
Reverie's magical synergy was born in the wee hours of an epic spring music party, leading to a four day recording session in July of 2014. The three musicians walked into the studio with virtually no plans other than to reignite the essence of that serendipitous jam four months prior, where they had played together as a trio for the first and only time. No rehearsals, no arrangements, just a tune list and a love for the spontaneity of their connection. Months later, the rawness of seven fantasies on English Country dance tunes, three originals, and two free improvisations were transformed into Violet, a prismatic journey and an awakening into the spirit of Reverie.
