Akasha (आकाश) is the space in which everything exists. It is separated into two categories: world space (lokakasha) and non-world space (alokiakasha). Akasha can also mean "primary substance" that all things are formed from. It is said to transmit the waves of human willpower, thought, feeling, and imagination.
