ExpressionMusic by Ricca Razor Sharp

Ricca Razor Sharp is a veteran MC, spoken word artist, and fixture in the Calgary hip-hop community. Mantrakid is a highly regarded producer, artist and creator. The two met in 2004, and joined forces on the classic track ‘New Shoes’. In the next five years, they collaborated on three albums, each released under Mantrakid’s ‘Neferiu’ label.

In order to celebrate a decade of personal and professional friendship, the two have come together to create ‘ExpressionMusic’. The 12 track album combines Ricca’s signature hard hitting yet thoughtful and entertaining rhyme style, Mantrakid’s unique and captivating production techniques, and, by Ricca’s request, some ‘disco undertones’.
