Boat School by Richard Aufrichtig
Boat School consists of four cover songs from Richard Aufrichtig arranged with acoustic guitar and three-part harmony. With a nod to three of his songwriting heroes (Hank Williams, Bob Dylan, and Townes Van Zandt) as well as a wink toward something more contemporary (his highschool fixation, Gnarls Barkley), Aufrichtig takes the listener on an unexpected journey. You may know the songs, but you'll hear them anew on Boat School. The 2nd in a trilogy of cover-song EPs being released in 2023, an album of Aufrichtig's original songs is planned for release in 2024.
