When Country went gospel back in the late 50s, each and every signed artist could be expected to record an album or EP especially for that Sunday moment. Hank Snow’s aching balladeering style was well-suited to the genre and this 1958 EP is a gorgeous example of mid-America’s spiritual credentials. Four tracks of wonderful simplicity taken from the album of the same name.
