Guardian Angel

You and I, we’ve come this far
Through the long and lonely night
And you’ve always been my Guardian Angel
Always been my guiding light

We’ll be on this road so long
And sometimes not know where we are
But somewhere along that lost horizon
You will be my Shangri La

Praise slips out so easily
It may not sound sincere
But it only seems to come to me
Whenever you are near

When the sun was far too strong
When the wind was cold as ice

Always been my paradise
