Noise Noir by Romboid

Romboid returns to Petite Victory Collective with 'NOISE NOIR'.

NOISE NOIR is the completion of a tetralogy, following the previous three albums (also released on the PVC). This new project stems from the same recording sessions, the same creative concept, and even the same setup. The four volumes in total are a selection of more than 100 live recordings.

This new live experiment is a of a wall of sound and a philosophy of composition. Fleeing from electronic minimalism simply as a stylistic choice, seeking complex structures, polyrhythms, polymetrics in patterns and all of this performed live with modular equipment.

NOISE NOIR is perhaps Romboid’s darker piece so far, with a selection of themes having a more dark presence, mixed with somber and evocative atmospheres that are fused with moments of glitches, noise and chaos.
