Following on from his last release on The Silhouettes project, Chillhop resident Illiterate is accompanied by Martha Eve to bring a new wave of Lo-fi Neo Soul to Bristol based label, Roomtone

Martha Eve’s luscious voice flows perfectly over the washed out psychedelic guitars and swinging beat, while delicately delivering personal lyrics about a sobering past love.

April is the first single from Illiterate’s next EP, a new venture into collaborating with singers and session players as an ode to all the records he’s sampled over the years.
