hxn by roots & engines
These tracks were made between summer 2023 and spring 2024, mostly while traveling, with a modular synth emulator for Android called hexen. It's a fun little app that helped me finally "get" modular synthesis, although the controls are a litle fiddly on a small-ish touchscreen.
This album is the result of those explorations – I hope they are as fun and surprising to you as they were delightful to make.
