Scare Quotes is a scrappy lil art-punk outfit made up of Lily, Nathan, and Scott. You might’ve seen them play with bands like Floral Print, Food Court, and Narrator, but they’re trying something a bit different this time. Having come together just before the pandemic, each picked up an instrument they weren’t familiar with and, preferring instinct and immediacy over any other songwriting design, lunged into a tangled territory that quickly felt like home
