A blast from the past, as its lyrics were written a couple of years back, while living in Rotterdam (COVID times, most likely). I felt confined in the city and longed for some place elsewhere, with breathing space and nature, to revive my creativity. This melancholic song – borrowing its last line from a work by artist Lawrence Weiner – is the nexus between IMPERMANENCE, Rosco Chapel’s first album, and AIXOPLUC.

Rosco Chapel are a trinity composed of a female and a male Aquarius and a Virgo female. They produce down to earth, yet angelic sounding lo-fi noise in an organic way. They are more about cactuses than roses, more like olive trees than cypresses. They like open roads, not closed gates. Their music is filmic like a Western movie in cinemascope format, but poetically realistic at the same time.
