Maps by Ryan Brown Music

Maps was recorded between August 2016 and July 2019, and is my 11th release.
Similar to my last album, I recorded vocals for a few songs with my friend, Andrew La Tona. It’s always a pleasure working with Andrew - it's great to get his input and feedback and have a second set of ears while recording.
I wrote the chorus and bridge for “Comfort it Creeps” in 2011 with my friend Mike Tudisco. Mike and I were studying at York University and both in separate bands at the time. It was exciting to do some song writing with someone outside of my band. I went over to his house with ideas for the guitar parts and we came up with the lyrics and melody. The song was never fully fleshed out and I sat on the idea for years. I’m glad to finally see this song come to life.
I wrote and recorded four versions of the lyrics and melody for “In Between” before I finally landed on something I was really happy with. The final product is one of my favourite songs.
I’m very proud of these seven tracks and thrilled that they’re final out.
