She's been through hell - her friends died in a monster attack. Her mom's the leader of a cartel. Her powers relate to her anger. She wants revenge and not justice, and she butts heads with her teammates....
But she is not a bad person. This started out much harsher than the final product, and the juxtaposition of harsh and nice sounds, and the dissonances vs harmony back-and-forth, truly define her. The ending is among the most hopeful things my poor heart has ever created.
