Tokyo's Sachi Kobayashi has created something eerily beautiful in "Damage." A trip through the mind of a mentally ill man and the hardships before him. Sachi has done us the honor of providing the words below as well as a complimentary animation.

"I like to imagine something from a sound. This project is a record of my experimentation to see what can be created from a single sound. As I composed the music, I thought of a number of cinematic scenes, so I developed a story and created a fictional movie, and the music was used as its soundtrack.

Although it was set up as a fictional movie, my creative mind was stimulated and I also made an animation. I wanted to make a live-action movie, but due to budget constraints, I ended up using a web app called Vyond to do the animation. Furthermore, the animation is a bit special because it is made in a format called "Sukatto-kei," which is popular on Youtube in Japan.

The theme of this fictional film is mental health.
The animation has a few twists and turns to entertain, but my thought while creating this story is that I want you to take the necessary steps in case of an emergency. For you will not regret it. Because I believe it will save you from yourself.

I have prepared the plot and animation of the movie here. However, there may be some oddities in places. These are just for your reference, and you are free to imagine what you want from the sound."

Plot:

America. A middle-aged man had a feeling. He had a bad feeling about this. He had been suffering from mental illness for many years. But now he had no medicine for his chronic illness.

He had been suffering from it for so many years that he had let his guard down. He thought he didn't need to take the medicine. But the lack of medication made him start to doubt things.

On the spur of the moment, he went to his doctor's clinic, but the doctor was away on vacation. He curses, but then has a panic attack.

Unable to get the medication, he is trapped and calls the suicide prevention
service just in case. But his hands are shaking and he can't turn the dial
properly.

As the night wears on, he becomes more and more mentally overwhelmed, and in the midst of the storm, he picked up his gun and headed for the sea. He puts a single bullet in the gun and tries to play Russian roulette...What will happen to him?
